Revuteck contributed to implementing a retail Hadoop ecosystem that centralizes high-volume operational data on a scalable, distributed platform. The solution included Flume-based web log ingestion, Hive analytical processing, Pig transformation workflows, HBase lookup integration, Sqoop database synchronization, and operational support workflows for enterprise-scale big data processing.

Business Required :

The retail organization generated large volumes of customer activity, web logs, transactional data, and operational records from multiple enterprise systems. Existing traditional systems struggled to efficiently store and process this growing volume of data for analytics and reporting.

The business required a scalable big data platform that could:

  • Centralize large-scale retail data

  • Support distributed storage and processing

  • Enable structured analytics using Hive

  • Improve ingestion of web server logs
